The St. Stephen Area Chamber of Commerce is aware of the recent developments with the Department of Finance Release on July 18, 2017 of its Proposal Paper, “Tax Planning Using Private Corporations” and we hope you join us for a Luncheon on Wednesday, September 13th at the Garcelon Civic Centre to address the Proposal.
Our guest speaker is Jason Rideout, CPA, CA, TEP who will present a summary of the 76-page proposal, potential affects of the Proposal on Private Corporations (small businesses operating as a corporation or corporations which hold investments) and how to prepare a response to our Local MP, Karen Ludwig and the Department of Finance.
This luncheon presentation will provide Chamber members a better understanding of the proposed tax changes and allow them to prepare a response, as requested by the previous email forwarded from our MP Karen Ludwig’s office by Chamber.
