The St. Croix International Waterway Commission is an international, non-profit partnership that protects and enhances the health, heritage and beauty of a waterway along the St. Croix River shared with the Passamaquoddy Nation, Canada and the United States .
Since 1986, the St. Croix International Waterway Commission has been responsible for planning and facilitating management of the St. Croix boundary water system, which is designated a Canadian Heritage River, including the Heritage River Recreation Program providing wilderness camping on the St. Croix River, Spednic Lake, and East Grand Lake.
